The Nilz formed in 2015 in Dublin & consists of members of infamous punk bands Mongohorn & Septic Pussy. They quickly garnered a reputation for themselves due to their raucous live shows. They released their first EP " The Nilz made me do it" in Oct of 2016, physical copies of which sold out pretty quick, 2017 saw them play support to Punk stalwarts like The Defects & D.O.A. & headline Irish punk fest Feasant fest before embarking on a 10 day tour of the Balkans. 2018 started with a bang with the release of their 2nd EP "Kiss me my executioner" & support slots with Grade2, Peter & the Test Tube Babies & The Exploited.

Now working with Deadlamb Records there are various splits in the works for later in the year.

Big supporters of their local scene they also run a gigswap collective called Buddycore with a DIY Ireland wide network & their own yearly festival called Buddyfest.

They consist of Chris Nil on Bass, GimpBoi on Guitar, Backdoor Gary on Drums & Eddie Nil on vocals
